Promise

* Photo courtesy of Jinksy

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Look into  this  fountain
of an inner soul's cusp
with  soft  waves
lapping slowly
as I gaze
into
everlasting
lilts of peace
and promise for
tomorrow  to  blow
yesterday's debris away
Trying to be a little more upbeat with an entry for this week's In Tandem. Jinksy has some colourful stuff on offer. Go check it out!
  3. Your first two lines are exceptional in their understanding of the 'feel' behind my picture. Thank you so much for boarding the Tandem again this week.♥
  6. AWESOME poem, Katherine!
    And I absolutely LOVE the photo!!!
    Is it something you created yourself?
    And it's so ironic, because I just left another bloggers post and she had the same message - I kid you not!
    She took a photo of a billboard on her way to work, that said Imagine Peace.
    Thanks for the reminder, my friend!
    *peace sign*
    Have a great weekend.......X
  7. @Ron: The words alone are mine Ron. The photo is courtesy of Jinksy at In Tandem. I guess I forgot to add that in. Oops, sorry Penny!
    As to the words though, thank you kindly sir. In re-reading them, I think that perhaps I need to take them to heart a little more again & go reflect on that for the evening. Thank you so much for your kind words Ron. All of them.
  9. @Doctor FTSE: Glad you liked it.
    @kez: Jinsky's image looked like an inviting watery well/fountain to me, that I just had to dive into. Thanks for reading & leaving your mark here. :)
